As a Business Development Manager, you will be in charge to identify new business opportunities in order to help the business grow providing reliable solutions for all commercial and technical issues to assure complete customer satisfaction. Business development managers are concerned with improving and growing a business, by establishing and developing relationships with customers, suppliers and other partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets;
  • Finding the appropriate contact in an organization;
  • Meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone;
  • Develop relationships with customers/clients;
  • Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond with a plan of how to meet these;
  • Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business;
  • Create a sales pipeline;
  • Negotiate pricing with customers, and suppliers in some cases;
  • Carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present them to the company management;
  • Develop the business sales and marketing strategy;
  • Have a good understanding of the businesses' products or services and be able to advise others about them;
  • Train members of your team, arranging external training where appropriate;
  • Discuss promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department;
  • Iiaise with the finance team, warehousing and logistics departments as appropriate;
  • Attend seminars, conferences and events where appropriate.

Requisiti dell'incarico:

Qualifications Required:

  • Experience in sales, marketing or related field.
  • Strong communication skills and IT fluency.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Applicants should have experience in the Defense - Military market.
  • Baccalaureate or technical degree.
